Language World 2011 is the annual exhibition and conference of the Association for Language Learning. The event is for language professionals and other language enthusiasts to explore recent developments in language learning and teaching. This year, it’s being held for the first time at the Queen’s Tower Rooms at Imperial College London on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th July.
The exhibition is free for members of the public, and will include representatives of key languages learning publishers, organisations and businesses. Examples of those attending are BBC Active, Heinemann, Cambridge International Exams, Network for Languages and the Goethe Institut (see full list).
There are also numerous talks and workshops for paying attendees on topics such as “Giving languages the ‘X’ factor”, “Making the Languages Department the most popular in the school” and “How can Olympic Values support the International Dimension in the Languages Classroom?”.
